Cllr Eamonn Keogh represents Peartree ward, where he has lived and raised his family since 1990. First elected in 2012, he is a long-standing and active advocate for his community. He currently serves on the Children and Families Scrutiny Panel, contributing his experience and perspective as an educator.
Eamonn works part time as a teacher at a local sixth form college and brings his passion for education and opportunity into his
work as a councillor. Outside of teaching and council duties, he enjoys swimming, cycling and taking part in parkruns. He also
has an allotment and values the satisfaction of growing his own food — a reflection of his interest in sustainability and healthy living.
Eamonn stood for election to help improve local facilities and amenities for residents and to make Peartree a cleaner, safer and greener place to live. He believes in the importance of strong community connections and practical improvements that enhance everyday life, ensuring residents have access to the services, spaces and support they need to thrive.
