Councillor Sally Goodfellow

Cabinet Member for Housing / Councillor Redbridge

Cllr Sally Goodfellow has represented Redbridge ward since 2019. She is a member of the Fire Authority, serves on the Corporate Parenting Committee, and is also a school governor at Shirley Warren Primary School.

Sally works at the University Hospital Southampton as a Senior Health Care Assistant, bringing her professional experience in frontline care into her role as a councillor. She is also a proud mum to two children, aged 21 and 15. While spare time can be scarce, she enjoys pottering in her garden, completing jigsaw puzzles in the winter, and spending time with her family.

Sally chose to stand for election to make a difference in her community. She has been involved in saving valued services such as Oaklands swimming pool and is committed to working closely with residents to improve quality of life in Redbridge.

Her priorities include tackling everyday issues that matter to local people—whether that’s housing, waste, open spaces, or road safety. She is particularly focused on improving air quality around schools, combatting speeding, and ensuring that neighbourhoods remain safe, welcoming, and supportive.

For Sally, being a councillor means standing up for her community, listening to concerns, and helping residents find practical solutions.
